The problem
Mercado Livre's maths is not simple maths.
The selling fee changes by category and listing type. Shipping changes by weight bracket, price bracket and your reputation colour. And some categories carry a discount few sellers know about. Setting a price that covers all of it and still leaves the profit you planned is a back-and-forth calculation most sellers do by feel. Price too low and you pay to sell; too high and the listing sits.
