Custom systems
Your business grew. The spreadsheet didn't.
Finances, scheduling, team and clients live in spreadsheets, notebooks and WhatsApp. The same information gets typed again into each one. I build the system that brings it into one place, tailored to the way you already work. You don't adapt to off-the-shelf software: the software adapts to you.
The first conversation is free and usually doubles as a diagnosis. There is no chatbot. The person answering is me.
- Month-end is a scare: nobody knows exactly what came in and what's about to go out.
- The schedule lives in three places. Every so often two commitments land at the same hour.
- Critical information lives in one person's head. When they're out, the operation limps.
- Every day someone retypes into a spreadsheet what was already written down somewhere else. Nobody knows which version is right.
- A long-time client calls and nobody remembers their history.
If you recognised two or more, a system solves this. Keep reading.
The problem isn't you. It's everything that ended up in the spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet you built worked: it brought the company this far, and that is no small thing. A spreadsheet is good at calculation. It just wasn't made to be the records, the calendar and the company's memory all at once: no history, no record of who changed what, no warning when something important moves, and no way to talk to the other spreadsheets. So each area starts its own, the notebook and the WhatsApp group complete the puzzle, and the same information gets typed again in each place. In the end, the one holding it all together is you, on call, answering where everything is. Off-the-shelf software doesn't fix it either: it does too much and nobody uses it, or too little and the typing comes back.
Management systems for companies
Off-the-shelf system, or custom-built?
Anyone looking for business management software usually finds two options: an off-the-shelf ERP with a per-user subscription and a catalogue of features your company will never use, or staying on spreadsheets. There is a third path, and it is what I do: a system built to measure, starting with what your operation needs today and growing in modules as it changes.
Off-the-shelf makes sense when your business works like everyone else's. Your operation may have its own way of doing things: an unusual crew schedule, a specific contract flow, a calculation only your company runs. In that case, packaged software forces the company to adapt to it. That is when the team builds parallel spreadsheets to cover the gaps, and you end up paying for two systems: the one you bought and the one your team improvised.
I work with companies of any size, from São Paulo and across Brazil, remotely. Management software for small business, financial control, scheduling systems, team management, client records with history: if that lives scattered across spreadsheets and WhatsApp today, it fits in a single system.
One system, shaped like your company already works
Finances in one place
Income, expenses, contracts and billing in a single panel. You open it and know where the company stands, without hunting for numbers from one place to another, without depending on a manual closing.
One schedule, not three
Appointments, events and deadlines in a single calendar that can talk to Google Calendar. Clashes surface before they become a client problem.
A team that knows what to do
Each person sees their own schedule and their own tasks, from their phone. Fewer WhatsApp groups, less "nobody told me".
Clients with a history
Who bought, when, what was discussed, what's pending. Anyone on the team can serve them well, not just whoever remembers.
Reports without the all-nighter
The summary by month, team or service comes out of the system ready. If you'd rather see it in a spreadsheet, it exports. What ends is building the spreadsheet the night before the meeting.
Built to grow with you
The system starts with the essentials and gains modules as the company needs them. You don't pay today for what you'll only use in two years.
This isn't a promise. It's already running.
I built from scratch the ERP that runs the operation of Brazil's largest character-entertainment company for events: events, crew scheduling, costumes, contracts, finances and calendar. One system, used every day by the people who work there. And I managed that operation before I built its system: I build understanding the business, not just the code.
- AI-accelerated development: timelines in weeks, not years. The architecture and the decisions are mine. AI speeds up the execution.
- Engineering method: a spec before the code, tests before delivery. I study Computer Engineering at Instituto Mauá.
- You follow the real state of the project: what's done, what's missing, no surprise at the end.
Three steps, no commitment in the first two
- 01
A conversation
You message me on WhatsApp and tell me how the business works today. It's free and usually doubles as a diagnosis. Many people discover in that conversation where they're losing money.
- 02
Diagnosis and proposal
I come back with the system's design: what it solves first, in what order, for how much and in how long. You decide with everything on the table.
- 03
Building with the state on display
The system arrives in stages and you start using the first parts before the whole is done. We adjust along the way. That's what tailor-made actually means.
- How much does it cost?
- It depends on the size of the problem. A financial control is one project, a whole-operation system is another. That's why the first step is the free conversation: you leave it with an honest sense of scope and investment, even if you decide not to go ahead.
- Will I be locked in to you?
- No. The code and the data are yours, documented. If one day you want to continue with someone else, they receive an organised, explained system. That's made explicit in the contract.
- I like my spreadsheets. Do I have to give them up?
- No. The spreadsheet stops being where information is typed in and becomes where it is analysed. The system stores the data once and exports whenever you want, including to feed the spreadsheets you already use. What ends is the repeated typing, not your spreadsheet.
- My team isn't technical. Will it stick?
- The system is born the way your team already works. The software adapts to the people, not the other way around. And because it's built in stages, the team starts using it early and adjustments happen during the build, not after launch.
- What if you leave the project?
- Fair question for any one-person vendor. The answer is the method. Everything is documented: the system, the decisions, the why of each thing. And the code is in your name. The project survives me by construction.
The conversation is free. Typing it all in again is what costs you.
Send me a message about what gives you the most grief in your operation today. In one conversation we'll find out whether a system solves it. If it doesn't, I'll tell you.
